Lenten Schedule


The Lenten services this year will be held at First Presbyterian Church at 12:00 noon. The schedule is as follows:
          February 22  Presbyterian Churches
          February 29  St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church
          March 7       First Baptist Church of Hartsville
          March 14     St. Mary’s Catholic Church
          March 21     St. Luke & Centenary/Kingsville Methodist Churches
          March 28     West Hartsville Baptist Church
          April 4         Wesley United Methodist Church
Lunch will be served before each service at 11:30
a.m. and again after the service at 12:30 p.m.

Wessilini Fundraiser Dinner

Wessilini will host Wesley Cafe on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd.  

It is that time of year again! Our youth will be preparing and serving their famous speghetti dinner to raise money for their youth fund. Invite all your friends and family!! We will be serving Speghetti, salad, bread, dessert and drinks. Dinner will be $6 per plate. 

After dinner join us in the Sanctuary for the Ash Wednesday service

 

Money for Missions... Brick by Brick!

If you would like to purchase a brick in honor or in memory of someone, please contact the church office. Money raised for the bricks will go to the Missions Programs. The cost is $100 per brick. They will be personalized and placed around the front walkways. What a great way to remember someone special at Christmas time!

If you are in Kindergarten thru 5th grade this one is for you! You will be doing crafts, watching dramas, playing games, learning songs and learning about our Savior. Join us every Wednesday at 5:50 and bring all your friends! See you at the club!

 

 

 

"Afterthoughts" is a Young Adult Ministry designed to offer a time for open discussion and consideration about YOUR questions regarding Christianity today ... what YOU believe ... world views ... cultural postures and attitudes ... and how we make it all work together. JUST COME AS YOU ARE... Every Thursday at 8:00 P.M. in the parlor.

Wesley United Methodist Church shall be a spiritual center for community life, through christian social, health, and service ministries.

 

Wesley is a Safe Sanctuary Church.

Missions Update

The Wesley Pumpkin Patch was very successful this year thanks to many dedicated volunteers. We made $4,579.22 for our missions programs! We hosted 495 children this year for story time during the month.

Thank you to all for your help with this great community outreach project!!

Another banner year for the annual Bar-B-Que Fundraiser! We sold 1788 Bar-B-Que tickets and made a profit of $6,188.20 to go toward missions. Thanks to everyone who sold tickets, asked people to come and enjoy, planned the event, and helped that day. Without all of you we couldn't have had this super fundraiser!
